Public Displays of Affection

I am blessed with a wonderfully diverse portfolio of work.  (A blessing as the result of 20 years of photography and a very distracted body of interests!)

This week I will be working on one of my favorite displays of my work - performing arts photography within the Mraz Center for the Performing Arts.  I have worked with this theatre company for 9+years, photographing dozens, upon dozens of theatrical performances and headshots.  Last year, the Artistic Director asked me to create a display of my photography within their newly renovated theatre.  Not only was it exciting to see my work move from computers and cameras to a tangible wall display - but also such a treat to find my way through years of archives and some of my favorite shows and thespians.

The result was a vibrant display of colors, moods, styles and character.  I adore the opportunity to showcase not only my work but this great performing arts company.  This year, it is time to expand the display and add to it behind the scenes imagery and new shows.

How did I ever get this lucky to have my days and nights filled with beautiful art, music and people?  Seeing this display of work in the Mraz reflects so much of my wonderful adoration for the many great people I have met within these walls!
